Zero Waste
At VIOMES, we are dedicated to minimizing waste generation and maximizing the utilization of all materials.
Our in‑house recycling system — which includes plastic shredders — allows us to fully process products rejected during production, customer returns, and older items with no commercial activity.
This approach ensures 100% material utilization and virtually zero plastic waste from our production process.
As for the packaging materials of our raw materials (plastic, paper, cardboard, metal, etc.), after unpacking and separation, they are delivered to certified recycling companies for further processing.
All relevant information — packaging types, quantities, and authorized partners — is officially recorded in the Electronic Waste Registry (H.M.A.).
Additionally, the packaging materials of our marketed products (cardboard and plastic) are declared to the Hellenic Recycling Recovery Corporation (EEAA) and the Hellenic Recycling Organization (EOAN), with payment of the corresponding environmental fees.
In this way, we actively support the official national recycling mechanisms, such as the blue‑bin system.
Finally, we implement an Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001:2015, confirming our commitment to continuous improvement at all levels.
